Pay once

Paid products are "purchase once" or perpetual license products, in which the customer buys a license to use the product indefinitely.

You can setup products for a simple paid model by setting up a base price and any discount schedules you want, as well as setting any trial duration.

You can set this up by clicking the "+" on the Purchase Price Schedule section.

Base Price

Start by defining a base . This is set in USD, and represnts the "starting" price, before you run sales or discounts. Set a date for this base price to go in effect; if there is no active price, and this date is in the future, your app won't be able to purchased until then.

If there is an active base price, then setting a new base price (with a start date) is akin to changing the price of the product from then on.

Trial Days

Thanks to the Muse DRM system, you can easily set whether or not your want your product to be offered with a free time-limited trial. If so, you can set the number of days the trial can be active for here.

We recommend offering a 3-day free trial.

After the trial period has expires, Muse DRM will block the application from exectuing, and display a "missing or expired license" pop up, encouraging users to return to MuseHub to buy the product.

Please note that the customer must purchase a license through the MuseHub once the trial has expired, it does not automatically roll in to a purchased license.
