Set up base and discount schedules

Set a Base Price

You can add a base price to your product by clicking the "+" button on the Price Schedule control. From the pop up, choose "Base Price" as the price type, then choose your base price tier from the list (remember: price tiers are set in USD, exlcusive of sales tax).

Changing the active price

You can change the base price of a product at any time by creating a new entry in the price schedule list. Choose the base price type, set a new price, and select the date for the new pricing to take effect.

Running sales

To run a sale, you must set up one or more additional price schedules. Click the "+" icon to add an item into the price schedule, and choose the "discount" type.

A discount must have a start and end date, and cannot be more than the base price.

Once the discount window has expired, the product will return to the base price. until the next scheduled discount. You can setup as many discount schedules as you like.

You can also choose whether or not to participate in the Managed Discounts program. This scheme allows Muse Hub to run a sale on your behalf, up to the maximum discount set via the slider. For example, setting the slider to 50% means that Muse Hub can run sales up to a maximum discount of 50% off the base purchase price.
