Set up monthly or yearly renewable subscriptions

Because MuseDRM can control access to product, we can also enable subscription business models.

Subscription licenses expire after a certain duration, and auto-renew until cancelled. You can create multiple types of subscription offers, with different renewal periods and prices. Schedule a price change to run offers on each subscription type.

To add a subscription offer to a product, click the "Create New Subscription Offer" button.

From this dialog, we can set up a new subscription plan.

Name: This will be displayed to the customer, so make it something easy to understand. This may be "Monthly" or "Yearly", to align with the renewal periods, or it may be "Basic" and "Pro" to highlight there's a difference in features.

SKU: you can set a plan SKU that will differentiate this subscription plan from others in code. This is for internal/code use only, and could be used to identfy which tier (e.g Basic or Pro) the subscription needs to unlock on the front end or back end.

Billing Cycle: Choose whether or not this plan will be billed monthly or yearly. Let us know if you'd like to see more cycle choices.

You can then set a price tier and schedule as per the paid pricing model.
