Plug-Ins

Plug-Ins form the heartbeat of most music and audio workflows today.

Muse Hub can distribute plug-ins, installing native VST3 and Audio Unit (AU) binary formats directly, or any plugin format contained within an .pkg or windows supported installer (.msi, .msix, .exe)

You can upload VST3, and Audio Unit (.component) binaries directly to the Partner Portal. Muse Hub will download and install these to the user's chosen installation folders for each format (if it differs from the default locations).

If you are distributing AAX or other plug-in format types, or if your plugin requires some additional dependencies, you must bundle these within an installer.

Muse Hub can install plugins contained within standard macOS .pkg installers. These installers run silently to provide a seamless experience for the user, which is recommended. However, if you wish to show the installer UI to the user, you can disable the "Silent Install" option.

Please note that the discontinued VST2 format is not supported
